About Meor Alif, Ph.D.
Meor Alif Meor Azalan was groomed at RJ Wilkinson's; Malay College Kuala Kangsar, He then graduated valedictorian with a Bachelor of Human Sciences in Political Science (First Class) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, and was awarded four university prizes. He proceeded to obtain a MSc in Comparative Politics (Conflict Studies), and subsequently a MRes in Political Science, at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Writing Principiis rebellionis in India orientalis: taming British counterinsurgency in Malaya 1944-1954, Dr. Meor Alif completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science under the supervision of Prof. James Hughes, and the advisory of Dr. Bill Kissane, at the Department of Government, London School of Economics and Political Science.
At present, he is Assistant Professor (Political Philosophy) with teaching responsibilities as follows:
